Shree Peetha Nilaya
In the midst of the lush fields and forests of Germany’s renowned Taunus region, Shree Peetha Nilaya (SPN), ‘the Home of Maha Lakshmi’, invites you to come and explore what lies deep within your own heart. The Ashram is a place to connect more deeply with yourself and with others on the spiritual path, and a way to learn and evolve through spiritual practice.
Even more, what makes your visit to The Ashram so extraordinary is the opportunity to experience the presence of a living, God-realised Master, Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda. You’ll clearly know the value of that when you come and experience it for yourself.
What we offer
When you’re on the spiritual path, sometimes you need more information and sometimes you need more silence. Sometimes you need sangha (community) and sometimes you need solitude. The Ashram offers a variety of courses, events, and experiences, and we invite you to explore them all. Choose from any of these options to relax, focus your mind, and open your heart.
Ashram life
Life in The Ashram is unique. You can get a sense of it when you visit for a day, but when you stay for longer, you’ll really feel it. Whether you live near or far, it’s worth it to ‘Make the Pilgrimage’ to Shree Peetha Nilaya. Most of our guest rooms overlook fields, forest, and the valley below. Every room has huge windows that open for fresh air, and an outer door that leads either to a terrace or a balcony from which to enjoy the view.
People are continuously drawn to Shree Peetha Nilaya to evolve in consciousness, deepen their sadhana (spiritual practice) and experience Divine Love.
