Babaji Surya Namaskar
Babaji Surya Namaskar is a moving meditation and celebrates the divinity of the human body as a temple. The sequence takes only10-15 minutes a day to practice and brings light and energy into your whole being. As your daily practice takes root in the core of your body, thinking subsides and your movements become a soft, conscious expression of your inner strength. The practice is easy to learn and a great way to start your day.
Babaji Surya Namaskar works on the whole being. Physically, the practice strengthens your heart and all the major muscle groups in the body. It improves digestion and gives you a boost of energy to sustain you in your busy daily life. Just a few rounds will help clear your mind and energise your whole being. When the practice is done with love and awareness, every posture becomes a prayer of gratitude for life itself.
What People Say

Surya Namaskar is an exercise which you do every day. It is an exercise of saluting the sun and where each part of your body is infused with the sun’s rays inside: sun energy.

More than Yoga
First of many. Mahavatar Babaji taught the first Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) thousands of years ago. It uniquely balances both the solar (Surya) and lunar (Chandra) energy channels of your body. All other modern Surya and Chandra Namaskar practices came from this original one.
Vehicle of spiritual advancement. A body is essential to your spiritual advancement. The ultimate human spiritual goal is to attain Self and God-Realisation. This realisation is only possible when a soul inhabits a human body. Having a healthy body supports you on that journey.
Devotion. Babaji Surya Namaskar uniquely combines movement, mantra, breath and awareness of the Divinity inherent in a human body. Through this reverence and devotion, love is embodied and expressed through the conscious action of movement.
